School Board Meeting Schedule

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the School Board meetings will be on zoom and will be on the first and third Mondays of each month at 5:30 pm unless stated otherwise.

School Board Meetings are open to the public and the board welcomes community input at its meetings. Residents are welcome to attend and participate. Residents may request to be added to the E-Mail notification list to receive automatic emails with meeting dates and agendas. They will also receive meeting minutes.

2017-2018 School Year

Roberts and Greene Auditing Firm completed the school district audit and reported to the School Board that it was a clean audit with no exceptions noted.

The School District had an audited surplus of $205,179 for the year ending 6/30/2018, of which $141,343 was used to reduce taxes for the taxpayers and the balance of $63,836 was retained by the School. These dollars were made up of over expenditure of $16,612 in regular education, under expenditure of special education tuition of $102,770, over expenditure of $6,785 in vocational tuition, under expenditure of $2,270 in athletics, under expenditure of professional development/college course reimbursement of $26,593, under expenditure of $8,081 in support services, of $8,618 in library, of $3,145 school district costs, over expenditure of $32,022 in legal, under expenditures of $7,400 in principals office, of $4,071 in superintendent’s office, of $7,106 in custodial department and of $2,767 in transportation. We also had excess revenues of $19,012 from interest, special education aid, Medicaid and unanticipated state aid.
