Grounds & Playground
Open Dawn to Dusk.
Open to the public when school is not in session. (view calendar below for availability) There are no bathrooms on the grounds.
All rules on signage on the grounds must be followed!
The grounds are under 24 hour video surveillance.
CARRY-IN, CARRY-OUT ALL Trash and Recycling
Park closes at 9:00 pm. Use at your own risk during open hours.
Children under the age of 12 years must be supervised by a parent or guardian, for their own safety.
No bicycles or other riding equipment allowed on the playground equipment.
No alcoholic beverages are allowed. (this is a school property)
This is a family environment–please use appropriate language.

Vandalism will NOT be tolerated.
Please park only in designated areas
NO motor vehicles anywhere on the grounds, i.e. snow machines, dirt bikes, ATV’s etc.
Dogs are NOT allowed on the grounds.
No weapons are allowed on the property.
Loud music and noise will not be tolerated and if such does occur, with complaints, everyone will be asked to vacate the premises immediately.
A park application is required to reserve a field/court on the grounds.

Fill out the MCS Grounds Reservation Form to reserve a space on the MCS grounds. The play structure can not be reserved.
A new playground
In July 2018 volunteer labor installed the playground.
In October of 2017 Monroe Consolidated School received approval by the National Park Service for a Playground grant we applied for through the Land & Water Conservation Fund, the State of NH Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, Division of Parks and Recreation. In addition to providing funding for new playground equipment, this grant protected the playground and surrounding areas, encumbering the area as public outdoor recreational use for perpetuity.
In July of 2018 with the help of many volunteers the old playground equipment was removed and new equipment installed.
