The Monroe School Board is pleased to announce that a candidate has been selected to fill its current vacancy. Randy Gibson has been chosen to serve in this position until elections are held prior to our March, 2026 district meeting. Academic Goals:
District Goal: The District provides services and programming, based on the NH Competencies, designed to meet the needs of each student. The district will create an environment where students become independent learners and develop critical thinking skills and habits of a learner. Students will demonstrate growth annually.
Assessment Goal:
District Goal: The District data team will continuously assess and monitor all students in grades PreK-8. Strategies for supporting learners will be put into place in a multi-tiered system of support.
Facility Goals:
District Goal: The School District will continue to make efficient use of capital resources to maintain the school and grounds for the benefit of students and the community, and to ensure safety and timely maintenance.
Communication Goals:
District Goal: Communication will be positive and honest in order to maintain working relationships between the board, the administration, school staff and community.
School Culture, Health and Safety Goals:
District Goal: The School Board is committed to prioritizing safety and wellness for all students and staff.
2023-2024 School Year
Roberts and Greene Auditing Firm completed the school district audit and reported to the School Board that it was a clean audit with no exceptions noted.
The School District had an audited surplus of $103,941 for the year ending 6/30/2024, of which $95,437 was retained by the School, and the remaining $8,504 was non-spendable, committed funds.
